About Francisco Gomez Paz
Francisco Gomez Paz is an Argentina-born industrial designer who founded his Milan design office in 2004. Paz has developed products for leading design companies including Artemide, Driade, Luceplan, Olivetti and Sector. His work has received international awards, including the Good Design Award 2010, the Red Dot Award 2010, the Compasso d’Oro 2011 and, together with Alberto Meda, the 2011 First Prize of the Index Award for the Solar Bottle, which was selected for the MOMA’s Study Collection. His FGP Collection for Landscape Forms is part of the company’s Global 45 group of products designed for international application, manufactured with mass produced parts, and customized by regional materials.

The FGP bench is organic in form and sophisticated in its simplicity. The subtly concave curvature of the cast aluminum structural frames gives it a soft appearance. The bench back height is designed to allow a sitter to rest an arm on it, making it feel relaxed and welcoming. Benches are offered in single and double lengths and are scalable. The single bench has a frame at each end, while the double bench has a frame at each end and one in the center. Wood slats are more than an inch thick with the front slat elegantly detailed to curve around the bench frame. Slats are available in standard Landscape Forms woods in North America and regionally sourced wood in international markets. Cast aluminum parts come in either a powdercoated or anodized finish.
