About Andrea Cochran
Andrea Cochran, FASLA, is founder and principal of Andrea Cochran Landscape Architecture, based in San Francisco. In its work the firm sculpts and navigates space through a seamless integration of landscape, art and architecture, drawing boundaries with a controlled palette of materials to create permeable edges that blur the line between the natural and built environment. The firm has earned wide acclaim for its public, commercial and residential work, and is recipient of numerous awards including the 2014 ASLA Design Medal, the 2014 National Design Award in Landscape Architecture from the Smithsonian’s Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, and multiple regional and national ASLA awards. The Cochran Lounge for Terrace Life, designed by Andrea Cochran, brings quiet elegance to high-end outdoor living and recreational environments.
The 24” Cochran low table with legs beautifully complements the lounge and chair. The 4-legged cast aluminum frame supports a handsome top made of Landscape Forms proprietary Meldstone™ ultra high-performance cast concrete, a natural material with an elegant polished finish. A ¼” reveal between the structural frame and tabletop echoes that on the lounge and chair, giving the piece a “floating” quality. Cochran tables can be used singly or grouped effectively to create sociable settings. Like all Cochran elements they are designed for portability intended and warrantied for use in protected public spaces.
