Landscape Forms Appoints Laura Flannery Sachtleben, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, as New Director of Sales–Central Region

furniture, structure, and lighting is pleased to announce the appointment of
Laura Flannery Sachtleben, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, as the company’s new Director of
Sales for the Central Region.Flannery
Sachtleben joins Landscape Forms from prominent architecture and engineering consulting firm Stantec where she served as Global Education and Science & Technology
Sector Leader and the leader of the company’s Research + Benchmarking program.
She brings extensive experience in the field of education facilities design,
working for twenty years to build and nurture client relationships, lead
project teams, and share her knowledge on topics of resilience, school safety
and innovation in education architecture.

career in architectural education design, there’s been an increased focus on
outdoor learning and working with educators to explore unique new opportunities
and possibilities,” says Flannery Sachtleben. "I’m excited to combine what
I bring from this background with Landscape Forms’ furniture and lighting
expertise to do some really innovative things outdoors—both in education and
beyond.”
Currently based
in Houston, TX, Flannery Sachtleben serves as the President of AIA Houston as
well as the Chair of the Texas Society of Architects Government Affairs
Committee where she ties her love of the architecture profession with her
passion for supporting and advocating for the architecture profession as well as public education. In 2014, she was named one of AIA Houston’s
Young Architects of the year and in 2017 one of ENR’s inaugural National Top 20
under 40 award recipients, and today she serves as AIA Houston’s Board
President. Flannery Sachtleben also spearheaded the 2019 Houston Resiliency
Innovation Workshop which aimed at furthering a holistic and interdisciplinary
conversation around a resilient future in Houston.
